TALKING IN MY SLEEP

Talking in My Sleep

Uncertainty shadows

Wisps of cloudy thoughts

Soulful dreams begin

Talking in my sleep, no end

Who is questioning

While I murmur, toss and turn

When I slowly wake

There is no one there

Only ghostly impressions

Of love gone by

Wistfully clutch the sheets

And surely there were feather kisses

All gone too

Disappointment settles

And another day begins.
