IT’S MAGIC AND I’M THE MAESTRO

IT’S MAGIC AND I’M THE MAESTRO

I lay awake and feel my soul, fingertips buzz. It’s as though I’m connected to something so wonderful, so intricate that I know I  have to get up and choose pen or paintbrush and decide which one will bring me hours of delight. The words will spill and so will the colours from my internal. There are no rules and the borders are unlimited in my mind. It rides its own path and I am only the instrument. It ignites, provokes and the heat is on.

For me it’s a dance in harmony and usually wild beauty. Colours are a kaleidoscope, as are the words I put to paper. Expressing my perspective, hopes, dreams, sass, I get lost in my inspiration of the moment. Anything can set me off, it can be the turning of a car’s tires, that child who smiles so lovingly at me, the bug that’s trying to take a bite out of me. No limits anywhere, it’s a fusion of my own vibrancy that allows my own spirit to shine through.

My daily affirmation is to create at least one thing of beauty a day. It defines me as a human being, allows me to grow in all aspects of who I am.

It’s all truly magic and I’m the maestro.
