UNBROKEN

Unbroken

Ions of time pass

Slowly pulsing.

Relentless bridle, reins.

Spirit shattered, duressed

Refusing direction.

Smothering, choking and tighter.

Shakes her head

Escapes, runs free.

Her coat of many colours

Red flares, ignites.

She stands strong,

Spirit unbendable

Unbroken.

About redcontroversy

I know I'm a stargazing, skywatching, storm loving, sungazing addict. Environmentalist, political blogger, professional photographer, writer, artist...my favourite quote is: "If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive". ~ Eleonora Duse ~ ...my soul is definitely alive.

I hesitated to comment on this. So much raw emotion here, your so exposed. I love how you have expressed this. Thank you for sharing so much, for sharing yourself and allowing us to grow with you. We can all learn with you. Love Jules.
