IN DISARRAY…
Old man of the sea,
Held my gaze.
Murmured to me,
What are you doing here?
Today we cross paths,
Earthly thoughts drown,
Smother you in disarray.
Confusion unsettles you.
Stay steady, green mossed eyes,
Tell me your story.
I engraved your whispers,
On my sea weed stone.
