Trust and Faith
Sipping my hot freshly pressed cup of coffee this morning I had different thoughts running through my mind. I realized how important It is not to lean on your own understanding. It can go sideways before you even know it.
What is faith? It’s so unseen and you are putting your hopes into assurances of everything you have longed for. Is this correct? I continually wonder, seek answers.
Trust is a sure expectation of something more…it expresses certainty that it will be received and we will be fulfilled. Most of us think of these two words in conjunction with each other. I’ve come to believe that trust is integrity, very hard to find these days, and strength, ability of a person or thing. Trust and faith go hand in hand, it’s just how it is.
God knows how to separate the mind, heart and can address both. He loves thinkers… he loves soulful thought. He knows how to answer your questions and inspire you with the right decisions. This is a good reminder for me today.. Proverbs 3:7 says, “Do not be wise in your own eyes.”
He is there for all of us, he has touched me deeply these past few days. He has proven he is all knowing and trustworthy, he’s true to me.
I can lean on him.
