It’s been a bit like climbing Mt. Everest

What a silly question. I embraced the beginning of this year moment to moment and vowed to live this way forever. I woke up one glorious morning and felt that I had experienced an epiphany, I haven’t looked back.

The art of NOW has been a long hard journey for me and I can joyously say I am living it. Breathing helps, when that anxiety creeps in, I stop take a deep breath, in and out..it works. I do not allow the present to slip away from me any longer, I seize every second. Full of mindfulness, I am aware of not worrying about the future and the past is just that.. Gone. Lessons are learned daily on how to live in the here and now. Awakening to the present has been a beautiful discovery.

Letting go of want has been the only way to get here. It’s been a bit like climbing Mount Everest and all I can do today is look down and smile at the view. It’s fantastic.
