TAKE A DEEP BREATH
I was chuckling to myself over my cup of coffee this morning. It seems as though I have begun a type of mantra in at least three towns. Amazes me always how fast word spreads in these small towns.
I had popped into my sister’s hotel and she was literally steaming and seemingly running in two dozen different directions. It seems to be a common condition for her.. way too much on her plate as many of us have these days. I grabbed her arms and made her slow down and told her to take a deep breath. I’m sure if she could of gotten away from me she would of taken a swing at me and has since told a couple of people that I’m the only person in the world who could of gotten away with that.
She did take a deep breath as she knew she didn’t have a choice. It worked and within minutes she had calmed right down. What I didn’t realize is that the back of the hotel was filled with people and watched the whole scene.
I can’t pass anyone on the street now without someone saying..”stop and take a deep breath”.. It’s really caught on and I see that even her staff are using these four little words.
I like it..it’s made people think! We are all moving too fast and doing too many things at once. Most of us get so tensed up we don’t even realize we’ve stopped breathing! Let’s try and slow down and enjoy the moments… remember to …
“STOP AND TAKE A DEEP BREATH”…
‘Take a deep breath, it’s only a bad day ..not a bad life’…. Es-tee..
I’m taking a deep breath and slowing down as I have cold Bud Light. MJ
