CHERISHED WORDS

I cherished your words..

I cherished your words..

Delightful heights,

Rocked me senseless.

How far must I fall,

Cast naked and brave?

An uncertain messenger,

With fractured tongue.

I cherished your words,

Then choked on love.

This brook is your mistress,

Troubled and deep.

No ransom shall I pay,

For your earthly cause.

I shall wade in these waters,

Mourn to lost skies.

Your vanity was suspect,

So awkward in your skin.

Your words strike deeply Estee. Fractured tongue, I’ve never thought of that before and vanity as being awkward in your skin, Beautiful!
