I was reading an article on longing this morning. It resonated with me. It seems to find you when you are least prepared and can quite literally steal your breath. Sometimes we sell our dreams to the first bidder hoping we can secure an easier path. Many times I wish I had left the door closed.

I think moments are embedded in us and ghost memories have feelings attached. That kiss, the feel of his body curled behind you ions ago and the shock when you wake up and the other half of the bed is invisible and empty.

You may woo me with truth only these days and please do not hide anything. Tell me your stories and we’ll share conversation all night long. We’ll wrap ourselves in intimacy.

We are afraid of our desires, it’s huge risk taking sometimes. To live them takes courage and honesty. I embrace my longings today and fall deeper into myself. I’ve learned to have faith and my heart beats in acknowledgement.

I agree about the risk taking, most people are afraid to take a chance these days! Good post.

Yes I too believe that every thing that happens to us is part of our DNA and passed on for generations. Just watched a documentary on it and it’s fascinating stuff. Estee, how did you become such a soulful lass?
