DESERT STORM

I am weary and remote..

I am weary and remote..

I crumpled in the desert,

Dry particles of thought.

This journey has been difficult,

I turn my face away.

Your need is undeserving,

I am weary and remote.

This human soul and heart,

Lounges in the wilderness.

Fathomless doubt,

And no content.

I can climb no longer,

To heights of shallow ecstasy.

About redcontroversy

I know I'm a stargazing, skywatching, storm loving, sungazing addict. Environmentalist, political blogger, professional photographer, writer, artist...my favourite quote is: "If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive". ~ Eleonora Duse ~ ...my soul is definitely alive.
