The angels danced.

The angels danced.

I have a friend,

Dear Len.

A white knight,

Who shines in light and sweet love.

Two strangers who crossed pens,

So many ions ago.

We’ve shared joy, anguish and hope,

For ourselves and this foreign world.

This journey has been sweet,

And so many more miles to go.

Take my words, inked with love,

Be blessed on this day.

Because on the day you were born,

I know the angels danced.

Dearest Estee…….. So many memories written into your greeting but the most touching of all is the opening line – ” I have a friend.” which, from this place in cyber-space, I would amend only to read ” a grateful and honoured friend.” Love, as always…… Len’
Thank you Jack, tazzzzzzzzzz and channel99 – your ” Happy Birthdays” are much appreciated.
