Charm, history and panoramic skies abound here. I am lost in the endless horizons that simply take my breath away many days. It’s been fun to drive down abandoned drive ways and peek into old homes that have their own story to tell of days gone by. I always wonder “who is looking out, while your looking in!”…those shadows and broken panes.
Driving by an old steel grave yard I stopped to take a look and spent a couple of hours wondering about the people who had driven these old cars and the memories they must hold. On the seat of one old car I spotted an old button and thought it best to just leave it there and for some reason “do not disturb” popped into my head! I also took note of the bullet hole in the door..
This made me stop and smile. What a beautiful name for an old prairie school! And isn’t it the truth?..Children ..the HOPE of our future….
All of this is reminding me that… today’s moments are tomorrow’s memories.
