Where have the years gone to, they have slipped by so quickly. I notice her frailty and remember how cautiously she watched over all of us. We are having fun today and making wonderful Mother and daughter memories..I have talked her into a photo shoot of sorts and have to warn her to pay attention to the uneven ground. It seems ironic that I now watch over her with caution. I slip my fingers into her warm, worn familiar hand and I am reassured by the comfort it gives me.

My Mom says….”Even though you are on the right track – you will get run over if you just sit there”….
This shot was hilarious and the whole town came out to play.. Mom just sat there .. I assured her the train had just gone by five minutes before…..
Mom has always been a country girl.. this is her singing her heart out at 17!..
I can only hope that I will look down the highway of my life and feel the same as my Mom does today… I’m reminded again that moments like these add up to a lifetime of love….
