WHERE IS MY SKY?

I felt your cold metal breath...

I felt your cold metal breath…

I looked up and wondered,

Faded blue and blotted sun.

Dark shadowed forest,

And mute wildflowers.

My pilgrimage for clear sky,

Hastened by far my journey.

Birds fail to sing,

And breezes moan.

The bees decline their buzz,

While roses wilt.

Hazy shrouds followed,

Forever on my heels.

I felt your metal breath,

Raised my eyes above.

He seemed to know,

And promised me his reckoning,

Was soon to trumpet.

About redcontroversy

I know I'm a stargazing, skywatching, storm loving, sungazing addict. Environmentalist, political blogger, professional photographer, writer, artist...my favourite quote is: "If the sight of the blue skies fills you with joy, if a blade of grass springing up in the fields has power to move you, if the simple things of nature have a message that you understand, rejoice, for your soul is alive". ~ Eleonora Duse ~ ...my soul is definitely alive.
