I pick up my camera

and I’m lost.

My surroundings hum

everything is in slow motion.

I look through my lens

and joy, peace, tranquility

fill me.

I can hear people in the background

but I don’t understand

what they are saying.

My eye is focused

on the moment.

Isn’t that all that matters?

Sweet nature, one joy

my spirit surrenders.

“Something amazing happens when we surrender and just love. We melt into another world, a realm of power already within us. The world changes when we change. the world softens when we soften. The world loves us when we choose to love the world.” ..Marianne Williamson

I really like this one Estee and the photograph allows me to question my own spirituality and know that there is always peace if we so seek. Love your writings. All the best to you dear.

I know that feeling of peace, Estee! Usually it is the beauty of our natural world, but lately it has been enjoying my new grandson, holding him, cuddling with him and just admiring his perfection. Thanks so much for your postings!
