I started out late, too close to twilight to seriously think about painting as I set my easel and paints up. Sitting there wrapped in soft light and nostalgia dreaming of our past fishing trips here together. He is now just a ghost in my memory. The tranquility and isolation allowed me to just sit here and be, sometimes it’s a lesson hard learned. Absenting myself in memories and yearning for lost happiness, it’s all here if I allow it. That is love then and this is now.
